Cesme is a charming convergence of healing mineral springs, excellent beaches, crystal clear waters and sun, perfect for vacationers. Cesme is 94 km west of Izmir, on the very tip of the peninsula that bears its name. It was called the 'little harbor' by sailors, but with the passing of time, the area became known as Çeşme due to the ice-cold waters in its fountains, which is çeşme in Turkish.
